quotabiliTee :: prepping for the 4th

Oh joy, it's friday! I'm pretty stoked for this particular two day rest period that we call the weekend. I've already packed it full of loads of fun stuff. What kind of fun stuff? Oh, seeing MOONRISE KINGDOM tonight probably qualifies under the "fun stuff" label. Also, I'll be perusing (and thank god not participating in) our neighborhood garage sale. My husband's band will be kicking off their third release "III", with a big ol' show Saturday night, which coincides with a big ol' festival in the area surrounding the venue.

Then the city of Dayton decides to tempt the fire gods by releasing their annual, larger than life fireworks display Sunday night. There might be a grass fire due to the 100+ degree parched land as of late, and the parking around my house is going to be a nightmare... My home's one mile proximity to the display makes both these things a slight concern, but other than that, a good time shall be had by all!

Maybe I'll even squeeze in a yoga class—or sleep in until noon.

Anyhoo, I'm getting pretty stoked for the upcoming holiday. I like celebrating things by watching explosions and eating popsicles and grilling out. Yay, America!
